There is currently a huge emphasis on how our gut health affects disease progression, and this is one , of the books that explains what we should eat, how and why. In this book these questions are concisely answered with a brief explanation of the science behind the author's recommendations.
There is also a list of food options in the different categories of foods that are healthy for your gut health for easy reference and this can be adapted to different dietary choices (e.g. vegan and vegetarian).
I found the book to be interesting and quite easy to read with great points to take away.
