Where can you learn more about fungal infections?

Continuing on from the previous post on the World Health Organisation (WHO) publication on fungal pathogens list, I have highlighted a few resources that can be used to learn more about fungal infections. Apart from the standard textbooks, national policies and guidelines, there are online resources that can be used to supplement your learning.

Resources:

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

WHO fungal priority pathogens list to guide research, development and public health action

Dermnet (skin infections)

Global Action for Fungal Infections (GAFFI)- factsheets

Leading International Fungal Education (LIFE)

Note:

In Australia, the electronic Therapeurics Guide (eTG) or the local anti-microbial policy at your hospital must be used to guide therapies. The resources listed in this post are for further learning only.
